Shapes drift towards you along a rail. Catch them, let go, and every shot lands on the beat and
adds a note. The more you catch at once, the more the music layers up and the colour spreads across
the screen.
How to play
- Press and trace
- Press on the screen and trace across the shapes. Up to eight are caught; each caught one is
marked with a small hexagon.
- Let go
- Letting go fires at everything you caught. The shots land on the beat, each one adds a note,
and catching eight at once gives the biggest swell.
- Leave it
- Take your finger off and wait about four seconds: Mabayui starts playing itself; its ring
moves more slowly and breathes with the beat. Touch the screen again to take over. You can also just watch and
listen.
Sound
Every sound is synthesized on the device from sine waves; there are no recordings. Headphones or
a speaker are worth it.
If the sound does not come back after a phone call, Siri or a timer, switch to another app and
back and it plays again.
Privacy
Mabayui collects nothing and sends nothing, and keeps nothing about you on the device.
